After quadrupling in value in 2020, the crypto currency bitcoin reached $42,000 on Friday 8 January. It then corrected by 20% on Monday 11 before rising again to settle today at 35,000 dollars. Is this a sign that a new bubble is about to burst for a digital currency that, in 12 years, has seen its value rise more than any other asset?
